Archiving vs. Canceling
When you archive an active account, the subscription linked to that account remains active unless you cancel it separately. Archiving simply hides the account from your dashboard, but it does not stop future billing.
How to Check Your Archived Accounts
If you believe you were charged for an archived account, follow these steps to review your accounts:
- Go to your Trader Dashboard and click on the "Show Archived" tab to view your archived accounts.
- Review the status of the archived accounts. If you see a "cancel" option next to the renewal date, it means the subscription was not canceled before the account was archived and charged.
- Be sure to cancel your active subscriptions before archiving accounts to prevent future.
Avoiding Future Charges
To avoid being charged for accounts you no longer want, always cancel the subscription associated with an active account before archiving it. Archiving alone does not stop the billing process, so make sure to follow the correct steps.
