Getting Connected
If you are reading this guide, it means you’ve taken your first step toward becoming an Elite Funded Trader. Congratulations, and welcome to the team! The following guide will walk you through getting your ETF accounts connected to the Rithmic Platform so you can start your trading journey.
NOTE
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of R|Trader Pro, as older versions may prevent you from logging in.
To have Rithmic open to track your dradown, turn OFF data on the Rithmic login screen.
Rithmic is NOT available for MAC OS
1. Download and install R|Trader Pro: https://rithmic.com/rtraderpro.msi
2. Log in to R|Trader Pro using the credentials provided on your Trader Dashboard.
Copy your credentials from the Trader Dashboard and paste them directly into the Rithmic login screen. (Below is a screenshot of your Trader Dashboard for reference.)
NOTE: DO NOT CHANGE YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD
On the R|Trader Pro Login screen
Select the “Rithmic Paper Trading” system option.
When selecting a “Gateway,” be sure to choose the location closest to you.
If you intend to trade directly on Rithmic, make sure Market Data is turned ON and copy the settings information located under the “Orders” section.
Common Mistakes to Avoid:
Do not type the credentials manually; this often leads to errors.
Double-check that no extra spaces are copied when pasting.
Ensure you are pasting into the correct fields (username vs. password).
3. Sign the Rithmic data agreement
After logging in, you must accept all three agreements. Make sure to select only the non-professional status.
4. Once complete, you will be logged into the Rithmic platform and can start trading!
