Account Types and Contract Limits

How to read the contract limits
Each account has three numbers: Max Contracts, Max Minis, and Max Micros. These are the ceilings for each contract type on that account.
Due to technical limitations of the trading platforms, these limits are enforced independently. That means a trader could, in theory, max out their minis and then also max out their micros at the same time across different products. We do not consider this acceptable use of the account. Traders who do this may be subject to review or account action, including closure and forfeiture of any profits or pending payouts. The intent of these limits is the overall risk exposure stays within the listed maximums, not that you stack one on top of the other.
